November 13, 2013 we visited the James A. Michener Museum, the only venue in America, for the exhibit about the fairy tale life of Grace Kelly. The show featured several of her suits and dresses: fantasies for Hollywood, the transition to royalty and marriage, a life of family intimacy, and glamourous state events. There were videos and personal items. It was almost as if Grace, herself, were present.

We drove through the village to lunch at a former freight warehouse . The train arrives hourly, at the end of the line, then departs again for the trip to the Philadelphia International Airport. The restaurant opened just for our group.
Trippers enjoyed the Annual Arts and Crafts Fair - classic and unusual offerings
tastefully presented in the Aldie Mansion's dramatic brick interiors. Everyone agreed the quality and prices and friendly service deserved a return trip next December. Hand crafted seasonal decorations, toys, clothes, jewelry, candles, cloth items, metal, wood and ceramic creations. Gourmet foods: hand made candies, jams, pickles, pie fillings, cheeses, packaged soups, cookies, pancakes, and baked goods. Offerings from a local vineyard and special coffees. On a sunny, but chilly, Wednesday Trippers set a brisk pace for the short walk from our bus to the stunning 1927 Aldie Mansion.
